Fables, is a type conference. It believes that everyone has a story to tell. It seeks to discover the connection between typography and storytelling, using aesthetics to communicate in a way that enhances a narrative, rather than just representing it.

The visual identity draws inspiration from classic texts and the type treatment of novels. It seeks to represent these visual influences in a contemporary and more expressive fashion. It alludes to the successes of those mediums, while attempting to demonstrate more modern concepts of variability within a single volume.
The main program showcases the spectrum of the conference identity over 52 pages, detailing the speakers, events, and points of interest. A smaller guide was developed to serve as a quick-reference companion. The guide is lightweight, worn around the neck, and displays the conference attendee's name and role on the front.
